howto: start from dos floppy to format hard disk
------------------------------------------------

1) ensure to have a floppy 3,5" Double Density which your computer can read.

2) go <http://www.bootdisk.com/> to download boot622.exe
- choose DOS . in the next side download "DOS 6.22" to your hard disk
(line is DOS 6.22 | Alt)
- insert the floppy disk in your disk drive
- start the downloaded boot622.exe and follow the instructions. 
. confirm "insert floppy" by ok if you have already a floppy inserted.
. if an error happens "disk in use", klick retry. error comes usually from windows.
. do not remove floppy from drive when your dos floppy is done!

3) restart your computer
- when start up begins hurry to press displayed key (or key sequence) to enter bios setup
. computer shows at the very first screen how to enter bios setup settings
. . to go to bios setup most systems require [F2] or [DEL] or some old ones [Strg+Alt+S]

4) enable booting from floppy before hard disk
- anywhere in your bios settings you will find boot sequence. 
. most times you'll find it separate head lined settings or inside "advanved settings". 
. otherwise consult your bios manual.
- ensure to have first floppy, second hard disk. 
. "cd" can be after floppy optional - before hard disk is recommended, but as you like.
- save settings exit if you had done changes or quit without saveing in case of no changes.
. you sould have that options in the main menu of bios settings.

5) computer boots now from floppy
- your computer will now boot from floppy to dos.
- to format hard disk
. enter A:\>format c:
. confirm questions.
. warning: after formatting you need setup media! 
. . no start from hard disk will be possible anymore.
